Authors:   M. Jie, X. Rongting
Abstract:
Rooting system, as every knows, is the basic organ for walnut to grow and develop. Without strong rooting system, there would be no flourishing of branches and leaves, nor crop production. But it is, for the rooting system to grow, closely relative to the depth, the texture, the physical and chemical characteristics of the soil. Only under the suitable conditions of the soil, the rooting system will likely grow to be strong. So, only after knowing well about the growth potentiality and the specific properties of walnut rooting system in different environment of the soil, it is possible to work out the practical plans and techniques for walnut orchard management.
