| Abstract:
In vitro grown leaves of Prunus canescens, clone GM79, were employed. A 2 or a 4 day 2,4-D induction treatment was given to wounded leaves. Shoot regeneration occurred satisfactorily on leaves taken from shoots grown in an elongation medium, but not on those taken from shoots cultured in a proliferation medium. Duration of induction also affected leaf response, being higher with a 2 days long treatment. | |
