| Abstract:
Sugarbeet (Beta vulgaris L.) is considered a "recalcitrant" species in regard to in vitro behaviour. There are strong genotype effects on callus induction ability based on nuclear genes, but no evidence of cytoplasmic effect was observed when normal and cytoplasmic male-sterile lines were compared. | |
