| Abstract:
Regeneration of adventitious shoots from apple leaves was tested using leaves from in vitro plants, greenhouse grown plants, or from field grown plants. The influence of the cytokinins thidiazuron (TDZ) and benzyladenine (BA) were evaluated. Young leaves from the three sources were induced to regenerate shoots, but leaves from in vitro grown plants gave the best response. Young shoots were rooted and acclimatized to soil in the greenhouse. | |
