CURRENT PROBLEMS ON THE ECONOMICS AND ORGANIZATION OF ORCHARD PRODUCTION IN BULGARIA |

| Abstract:
The introduction of industrial technology and industrial methods of production and management necessitates strengthening of specialization and increasing concentration of production. In this connection agrarian-industrial complexes have been organized in the country, constituting large socialist enterprises averaging 25 to 30 thousand hectars. Huge cultivations of specific crops have thus been established in these complexes, the large areas of which render possible introduction of technical and industrial methods of production. On the basis of specialization, concentration of specific branches of production takes place, approaching the optimal level at which they are most effective. The degree of rentability will be high as a result of low unit costs of production. The introduction of the achievements of technical progress in fruit production leads to an attainment of equalized indices and dynamic growth of the productional process, thereby inducing establishment of large enterprises with a high level of mechanization and specialized in the production of fruit.
