Abstract:
This paper reports the results of two-year (1987–1988) trials carried out under field condition on potato irrigation, in combination with two nitrogen levels and two cultivars (Primura and Spunta).
Four irrigation volumes have been used by applying four experimental coefficients (Ke = 0.5, 0.7, 1.0, 1.2).
The daily evaporation has been evaluated by a Class A Pan.
Higher yields were obtained in both the cultivars with Ke = 0.7, however yields, irrigation applications and seasonal water depths were different each year.
No differences were observed with nitrogen fertilization.
