Abstract:
Possible reasons for scepticism and the almost inevitable inability to solve horticultural problems with growth regulator research are discussed.
Two recent examples of where intensive growth regulator research has resulted in practical, or potentially practical, solutions to horticultural problems are highlighted and discussed.
