Abstract:
In 1973 – 1984 3 different levels of fertilization were applied to apple trees.
Mineral fertilization increased the K content in soil already at the dose of 50 kg/ha N, a sufficiently high N in leaves was obtained.
From the third year of treatment the concentration of K in leaves increased, being higher in years with more abundant precipitations, however, it did not have optimum level even with high doses of fertilizers.
Total yields increased with larger doses of fertilization, reaching 100% with Do, 130% with D1, 148% with D2, and 158% with D3. The application of LS-7 chelate increased the yield of Bancroft apples and the concentration of P in leaves of the investigated trees.
