CHEMICAL CONTROL OF FIRE BLIGHT BLOSSOM INFECTION UNDER FIELD CONDITIONS IN CYPRUS |

| Abstract:
The results of two field trials, for the control of Fire blight blossom infection, on one pear and one apple susceptible varieties, are given. S-0208, an oxanilic acid analogue, was compared with Copac E (cuproammonium) and Cupravit )copper oxychloride). S-0208 gave excellent protection of pear (97.8%) and apple blossoms (93.2%) under conditions very favourable for natural infection. | |
