Abstract:
In the last three years, spider mites have been the most damaging parasite in strawberries.
The large populations in summer and autumn after planting, and in spring after covering, together with the future halt in cyhexatin treatment, a pesticide used widely until now, led our department to perform trials in order to offer alternative solutions to strawberry, growers to enable them to efficiently control this pest.
Let us examine the epidemiology of this parasite.
