EVALUATION OF WATER STRESS THROUGH THERMOVISION

Abstract:
The thermic temperature gradients of four different irrigation tratments of greenhouse foil-cultivated Belrubi stawberries were recorded and interpreted in 1987. AGA Thermovision 750 (remote temperature sensing) was used to distinguish the termic gradients of the canopy on the monitor image.

Results show a very wide canopy temperature range (8–10°C). Minimum and maximum canopy temperatures were determined for each plot.

The temperature difference between the irrigated plots and the dry control plots in terms of maximum daily water stress was 1°C and is not considered significant.
