Abstract:
In a recurrent harvesting system, autumn pruning promotes quality of fall harvest and increases total yield in spring.
Springtime harvest is much higher than autumn harvest, due to favorable climate conditions.
Springtime pruning should be discouraged, because it results in a loss of total production.
