| Abstract:
We studied out longitudinal and vertical temperature distribution under 3 different plastic greenhouses heated with geothermal energy and this in comparison with a control greenhouse of the same round arched type. The results indicate that warm air is always located near the ground area and in the top of the greenhouse. The lowest temperatures were registrated near the doors and the gables and along both lateral borders of the greenhouse. The utilisation of supplementary small loops near the door opposite to the entrance has permit to obtain more uniformity of longitudinal energy distribution in the greenhouse, which has been verified at several levels. A better homogenity could be obtained by combination with passive solar sleeves in both lateral borders. | |
