| Abstract:
With this volume of Acta Horticulturae the full texts of most papers read at the Vth International Pear Symposium are published. The text of a small number of papers was not received in time, of these contributions the available summaries are inserted. The papers presented as Posters in a special Session during de Meeting has been including in this Acta together with the papers with similar subject in the correspondent Session. The final English text of most papers has been prepared by the authors themselves, in such a way that they were ready for printing.
This has facilitated the task of the Editor but the used idiom is possibly not always completely correct; a few papers has been thoroughly corrected or traslated from Spanish to English.
Different types of typewriters has been used, so there is no typograph unity; these facts, however are not regarded as a great disadvantage compared with the benefit of an earlier publication. | |
