| Abstract:
New types of Pentas lanceolata were selected from progenies derived from controlled pollinations. During the later stages of selection, based on yearly replicated clonal experiments, genotypes were selected which have a potential as cut flower or pot plant. The new types are distinguished by new flower colours, floret longevity, stem quality and yield. They are vegetatively propagated by nodal cuttings. | |
