ISHS Acta Horticulturae 251: III International Symposium on Growth Regulators in Ornamental Horticulture

THE CONTENT OF INDOLE-3-ACETIC ACID IN PINUS SYLVESTRIS L. SEEDLINGS AS INFLUENCED BY DIFFERENT NITROGEN FORMS AND LEVELS

Authors:   M. Rudawaska, B. Kieliszewska-Rokicka
Abstract:
Nitrogen fertilization significantly increases the amount of indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) in seedlings of Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.). The increase in the concentration of IAA depends as well on the source of nitrogen (urea, ammonium tartrate, calcium nitrate) as on the level.
