| Abstract:
Regeneration potential of the endangered in nature Fritillaria meleagris L. has been investigated in vitro. The MS and Fa media Enriched with exogenous growth regulators BA 0.5–4.0 ppm and NAA 1.0 ppm were used. Regeneration of adventitious bulblets was observed both in case of the segments of scales and the whole bulblets placed on the medium. The highest percentage of the regenerating explants was stated in case of joint action of cytokinin and auxin. Cytokinin in the dose ranging within 0.5–2.0 ppm increased the number of adventitious bulblets on an explant, whereas the dose of 4.0 ppm of BA decreased the regeneration process. | |
