Authors:   C. Damiano, P. Curir, P. Esposito, B. Ruffoni
Abstract:
Rosa, Chamaelaucium uncinatum Schau, Eucalyptus spp and Genista monosperma Lam. are woody species with particular importance for the economy of italian Riviera, but at the same time, they show some difficulties to be propagated with traditional methods. The I.S.F. propagation department has been encharged to study those problems.

Micropropagation is a technique allowing to multiplicate plants starting from sterilized seeds or axillary buds taken from adult plants with particular appreciable characteristics. Several experiments to produce in vitro plantlets have been undertaken with good results.

This work will show briefly the most important results.
