Abstract:
In a six-year period the action of three herbicides (Sinbar, Venzar and Prometrin) in peppermint was studied. Different herbicide effects were obtained in different years. Differences were established in variability of individual parameters in different herbicides. Herbicide efficiency was in a positive correlation with yield and in a negative correlation with weed mass. The highest variation was recorded in weed mass, whereas the smallest in oil content. Sinbar variant had a significantly higher oil content than the control. A considerable effect of herbicides upon composition of predominant components of essential oil was recorded.
