VARIABILITY OF HERBICIDE EFFICIENCY AND THEIR INFLUENCE UPON YIELD AND QUALITY OF CHAMOMILE

Authors:   D.S. Adamovic, J. Kišgeci, V. Lukic, O. Gašic
Abstract:
Variability of herbicide action (Afalon and Monosan) in chamomile was examined under the field conditions during a six-year period. In different herbicides a higher or a lower variability among years was recorded. The lowest variability was obtained in oil content. No significant difference between variants in oil content was recorded. Herbicide efficiency was different in different growing seasons. The most effective was Afalon. Herbicides affected oil composition, and in particular reduction of bisabololoxide A and chamazulene.
