Abstract:
The heavy metals contents (Cu, Mn, Zn, Pb and Cd) in medicinal and spice plants were presented.
The plants were grown in controlled conditions, bought or collected from private producers and pickers.
The quantity of Zn, Cu and Mn could be in the correlation with the herbicide treatments.
The contents of Pb and Cd are the consequence of air pollution and fuel impurities, were higher in the plants grown near roads (camomile).
