COMPARISON OF POTPLANT NURSERY RESULTS |

| Abstract:
Firmresults of potplant nurseries differ considerably. A firm comparison study has been carried out to quantify differences between potplant nurseries, as well as to indicate the most important factors related to these differences. The variables taken into consideration (fifty-two) explained about ninety percent of the variation in nett firm results. Scale effects and the age of the glasshouses (modernity) appeared to be the most important factors. The type of the glasshouses and the rate of specialism were less important for the differences in nett firm results. | |
