MODEL FOR THE SIMULATION OF INTERNAL TRANSPORT IN POTPLANT NURSERIES |

| Abstract:
A simulation model is introduced, with which the internal transport in a horticultural production plant can be followed. The production plant to be dealt with can be represented by chaining several suitable program moduls from a work routine library with a computer. The moduls used are parameterised with data raised on the premesis of the production plant for the simulation runs. As a result, the model delivers characteristics which give statements about the use of transport and handling systems and the use of cultivation areas in the production plant. | |
