Abstract:
An individual response of the pollen from different plants of R. multiflora hybrids upon salt stress, expressed by a different germination ability, was found and gave evidence for a positive correlation between the salt tolerance of the pollen and the donor plant.
The symptoms on the foliage of the plants stressed by a salt could precisely be described and classified for NaCl and NaHCO3 contamination.
