The paper firstly presents an overview of the European Commission's Energy Demonstration Programme, followed by a statistical review of demonstration projects on energy saving/substitution in greenhouses, selected through type of energy used, year and country. Subjects of successful completed projects are briefly presented, while present general trends are derived from new project proposals, analysis and the development of technologies in general. | |
