| Abstract:
With different salad crops the market can be supplied throughout the year. Among wild plants dandelion is the most important. Autochthon cultivar of lamb's lettuce "Ljubljanski" is winterhard and resistant to diseases. Crispleaved lettuce "Ljubljanska ledenka" develops heavy yellow green heads. Autochthon cultivar of chicory "Goriski" is suitable for forcing. Ten years ago the introduction of chinese cabbage enlarged the assortment of salad crops. | |
