Sumi 7 (S-3307 D; proposed common name - uniconazole), a product of the Sumitomo Chemical Co. Ltd, Japan, applied as a 0.05% or 0.1% foliar spray to 8 apple cultivars in spring, retarded shoot growth, increased fruit bud formation and sometimes improved fruit set without evident influence on fruit size. | |
