Abstract:
Virus spread takes place on different levels: inside the plant, from a plant to its progeny, from one plant to another, and from one (ornamental) crop to another.
These types of virus spread have many practical consequences for a.o. large-scale testing, production and growing of virus-free material, and breeding on virus resistance.
Several practical aspects will be discussed.
