We report on the use of cloned cDNA radiolabeled probes for the assessment of (i) infectivity of electrophoretic variants of viroid-like RNAs isolated from stunted carnations, (ii) spreading of these RNAs in commercial plantings and (iii) correlation of presence of these RNAs with disease symptoms. | |
