Abstract:
Micropropagation is described as a system composed of several stages - subsystems.
Each micropropagation procedure consists of two kinds of plant material manipulations: the direct, sudden intervention in a plant's structure and change of growth conditions, or the long-term influencing of the growth and organogenesis of tissues by the use of properly adjusted physical, chemical and biological parameters.
A derivation of the general micropropagation model is presented with mathematical definitions of its elements, such as, the quality of input and output objects, subsystems, parameters of subsystems, etc.
The limitations of the model operation mentioned are based on three elements common in production: a time fixed for production, amount of product which must be produced and the number of explants which are in the possession of a laboratory.
