Abstract:
The specific tolerance of some bulbous crops to certain herbicides was determined in field and laboratory experiments under conditions that made the herbicides readily available to the roots.
Tulips were sensitive to pyrazon, whereas hyacinths and lilies showed a specific tolerance to lenacil and linuron.
The results are discussed in relation to the selectivity of the herbicides in the field.
