Abstract:
The relationship of citric and malic, amino, ascorbic, and gibberellic acids to the stage of development of tulip bulbs during low temperature rest breaking is investigated.
Amino acid content showed the most promising results.
Citric acid content showed some association with the length of the cold storage treatment.
