Abstract:
The influence of soil temperature and moisture on the flowering of Amazon Lily (Eucharis grandiflora) was investigated.
The results showed that earlier flowering and more flowers were obtained when water and bottom heat were withheld during the dormant period, followed by a combination of water and bottom heat during the growing- period.
Furthermore, the addition of water during the dormant period, followed by bottom heat and water during the growing-period, reduced the number of flowers.
