| Abstract:
It is a great pleasure to me as a representative of The Netherlands Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries to welcome you all in our country. I feel very honoured that so many eminent scientists working in the field of flowerbulbs have come to this symposium dealing with a product we like to announce in the Holland promotion as typically Dutch, together with the girl with the Dutch wooden shoes and the Dutch windmills. This image of Holland is however a little bit behind the facts of to-day and I like to try to give you a somewhat more differential image of our small, cold and windy country. | |
