Authors:   A. Mercier, C. Darbellay, F. Calame, S. Lutz, A. Reist, O. Jolliet, J.-B. Gay, L. Danloy, C. Moncousin, J.-P. Baumgartner, J. Burnier
Abstract:
Different energy saving techniques were compared in order to evaluate their effects on greenhouse climate and on a tomato crop :
  • low emissivity glass (Hortiplus)
  • use of a thermal screen either, opened and closed at dawn or, at 30 W/m2 radiation level, in combination with Hortiplus or normal glass cladding in the roof.
