| Abstract:
The specifisity of plant breeders work in urban conditions requires: (1) designing the task of breeding; (2) defining the properties which are the objective of breeding; (3) devising the patterns of breeding for the desired properties; (4) planning of genetic nature of the desired sorts. The number of tree species in Yugoslavia, as well as the ecological conditions in towns make good perspective for the application of tree improvement methods for urban forestry intents. | |
