| Author: | M. Zupník |
Abstract:
The specific climatic conditions /a mean temperature below 7°C/ at Klcov promoted the breeding orientation on frost and diseases resistance.
The programme has been engaged in improving apple cultivars, rootstocks and marginally also some other species utilizing locally acclimatized species and selections as parents.
Some of the bred varieties have been included in the National Variety Trials and further material is being prepared for the trials.
