Abstract:
In the 1970s the real prices in Poland have increased considerably.
If 100 is assumed to be the average real price in 1970, its equivalent in 1980 was 149,3, which made the living standard reasonably good.
Considering Polish fondness of flowers, this affluence increase should be reflected in the demand for ornamental flowers.
Therefore, there an attempt has been made to find out the exact value of flower demand in our country as well as to present the range of changes this demand has undergone in the years 1969–1979.
