At the end of the 1970s, a management advisory system for individual horticultural holdings has been developed at the Glasshouse Crops Research Stations (PTG + PBN) and the State Advisory Service. This manual system contains several forms. Some forms to describe the present situation, and several forms to budget:
These calculations can be made both of the present situation and of alternative plans. In this way the State Advisory Service can make a report of the economic consequences of changes in the cropping plan, the equipment or the cultivation methods. In recent years an increasing number of reports has been made. | |
