Abstract:
Efficient onion production requires increasing control over growth and yield formation processes against the background of specific natural and economic resources.
Computer-aided soil and crop management systems help the farmer to make decisions.
In this context, it is necessary to record a vast stock of data regarding the effects of major cultural and technological factors on crop yield.
Preliminary on-farm studies showed that yield estimates were in good agreement with the actual crop yield obtained.
