Authors:   I. Velich, J. Szarka, I. Horváth
Abstract:
The most important pathogenes in Hungary are bacteria /Pseudomonas phaseolicola, Xanthomonas phaseoli/, fungi /Colletotrichum, Fusarium, Rhizoctonia/ and viruses /BCMV and BYMV/. The most effective way in plant protection is the genetic resistance. Resistance against Pseudomonas phaseolicola controlling hypersensitive necrosis guarantees, by blocking secondary infection, the absence of symptoms, the development of healthy pods and seeds, in epidemic.
