IMPORTANCE AND POSSIBILITIES OF PROCESSING VEGETABLE GROWING IN HUNGARY

Will you kindly permit me to welcome you here in the name of Mr. J. Váncsa, minister for Agriculture and Food as well as in mine at the First International Symposium on Vegetables for Processing. Your presence and contribution will certainly deepen our general veiw of the situation in processing vegetables and will lead to exchanging scientific results and finding possibilities for a worldwide cooperation in the future.

We feel it a privilege that the organizing organs have chosen our country for the site of the meeting and I am very pleased, personally, that I have the opportunity to present in some short words the importance and possibilities of the processing vegetable production in Hungary.
