Abstract:
Agar Petri dish technique, devised by Eger and modified by Wyatt has been used for studying the effect of cyromazine, diflubenzuron and triflumuron on mycelial growth.
Products with diazinon, endosulfan and chlorfenvinphos have been tested comparatively.
Cyromazine and diflubenzuron are very promising for fly control in the mushroom houses not only because they are very good larvicides against Sciarids, Phorids and Cecids but also because they have no side, phytotoxic effect on mycelium and its growth.
