| Abstract:
To determine the leaf surface area required for normal development and maturation of one bunch, different numbers of leaves (i.e., 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and untreated control) were left on each girdled shoot bearing one bunch. The results showed that a leaf surface area of about 1100 cm2 (10 leaves) is required. | |
