Abstract:
Many factors influence on the "in vitro" banana organogenesis - process.
Some of them, NH+4concentration, carbohydrate source and BA concentration affect notably the multiplication rate.
The maintenance of "in vitro" banana stock during a long period of time is possible if we take in consideration the control that these factors have on the emission of lateral shoots.
The conformity of the "vitro-plants" (obtained from a 5 years old stock) growing in the fields, corroborate that this method is reliable.
