Abstract:
The browning phenomenom of tissues and media constitutes an important problem for plant tissue culture and mainly for cultures of date palm

In this article we foccused on the following:

  • The research work on phenolic compounds of date palm and other species.
  • The effect of hormones, cultural conditions and activated charcoal on the browning phenomenon.
  • A special emphasis to browning in dete palm and techniques used to solve such problem.
