ISHS Acta Horticulturae 212: Symposium on In Vitro Problems Related to Mass Propagation of Horticultural Plants

DETERMINATION OF OPTIMUM LEVEL OF BAP, GA3 AND IAA IN MICROPROPAGATION OF CAMELLIA BY AN ORTHOGONAL COMPOSITE DESIGN.

Authors:   D. Beretta, T. Eccher
Abstract:
The use of an orthogonal composite design allowed to find the set of levels of BAP, GA3 and IAA giving the best response with a remarkably lower number of trials than that requested by a complete factorial one. Optimum levels for proliferation were BAP 2.3 mg/l and GA3 0.7 mg/l. IAA concentration up to 0.2 mg/l increased only shoot length.
