| Abstract:
The investigation is part of an interdisciplinary project at the Horticultural Faculty of the University of Hannover. We are trying to analyze real decision-making processes within the field of crop management. For the interpretation of empirical data a 'theoretical framework' has been developed. The framework suggests that specific barriers might lead to insufficiencies in the different steps of the decision-making process.
