Abstract:
Several methods of propagating grape vines were evaluated.
One of these, termed the microclimatic chamber method, provides optimum conditions of humidity and temperature for the formation of callus at the union of the stock and scion.
Experiments were conducted to evaluate the degree of compatibility between rootstocks such as Kober 58B, Paulsen 1103 and Yaque (local rootstock) and several scion varieties, including Alphonse Lavallee, Italia, and French Colombard.
