| Abstract:
CLSV was observed in ultrathin tissue sections of Chenopodium quinoaWilld. and Malus platycarpa as oval and rounded fibrous inclusions. These inclusions were found in the apical meristem cells of the auxillary buds in Chenopodium quinoa and in the phloem cells of Malus platycarpa by immune-electron-microscopy (IEM) method. This rapid and reliable procedure is useful in the selection of virus-free clones for phytosanitary programs. | |
